Love & Relationships
Having supportive, loving relationships is necessary to grow, heal, stay healthy, and be happy.
The relationship you had with your mother (and maybe still do) is the foundation for your relationships with women. And the same is true for your father and relationships with men. How you were treated by your siblings and other primary caregivers/adults in childhood also contributes to your Relationship Blueprint.
Unfortunately most of us didn’t receive the acceptance, love, support we needed, and learned unhealthy codependent ways of relating…patterns like trying to please, be the “good” girl or boy, being the peacekeeper or family fixer, and overachieving (in order to get praise, acceptance, love, and avoid conflict, stay safe).
Now, we are still doing these same patterns as adults (often unconsciously). And because of our past Relationship Blueprint, we continue to attract people who can’t met our needs, show up for us the way we desire, or accept & love us for who we truly are (just like in childhood).
The relationship we have with our partner is often similar to the relationship our parents had with each other (which wasn’t likely 100% healthy, loving, or supportive either).

Anxiety, depression, thyroid issues, fatigue, and weight issues were all clues I needed to shift the relationships in my life… but I didn’t fully listen until Multiple Sclerosis knocked at my door.
It hasn’t been a fast or easy journey, but doing so has been Key to healing my body, and to feeling happy, connected, fulfilled, and supported in ALL my relationships.
