Do you ever find yourself thinking or saying “it’s too hard” or “it is going to be so hard to do ________? In this week’s video I will talk about how our mind creates stress and sabotages us from taking action in our life by telling us “it’s going to be hard” and how to move through it!
Do the following:
- Watch the video
- Write down 1 action you are not taking/doing because you are telling yourself it is too hard
- Now re-write that thought as positive/opposite (It will be easy to ______, it won’t be as hard as I think to do ________)
- Lastly, set a deadline by when you are going to do _______, and tell someone else (coach, friend, etc). Keep repeating the positive thought about it as you are getting ready to do it.
The truth is it probably won’t be as hard as you think it will be and you will feel so good about it even if it was a little hard. Plus it will likely free a lot of stress and overwhelm that comes with procrastination. Go on…You can do it!!!
